Its just a 10 watt 100 ohm resistor with an inline fuse if you want. If hanging the DISA works, I wouldn't worry about it.

Definitely reroute your valve cover hose to the elbow. Some have used a catch-can in place of the PRV. You're just going to be forever coating your MAF with oil vapor with your current setup.
