Woop, nevermind. Read up some more and the 95 and older systems have a chip in the remote that would make it impossible to adapt a remote from a different system.

Is there any reason to replace the whole tie-rod vs just the ends? Does the in-board part have any wearable items? I did my LCA's and bushings a while back, finally took it to the alignment shop...

Makes sense. I just ordered a set of LCA's and the m3 offset bushings. I'll pop those in and get it aligned and hope that fixes the problem. It looks like a new rack is pricey. The car is coming up...

That's disappointing to hear about BFI's plating. As for the splines on the bolts, I'm guessing the BFI bolts are for RS wheels, which weren't splined from the factory.
