After a heavy rainfall, the carpeting on the driver's side of my 318ti gets wet....I don't see any water leaking onto the carpet, but the carpet itself gets damp, near the door. Not real wet, but...

For the second time in the 8 years since I have owned my 96 318ti, the two gas-pressurized struts holding the hatchback lid are failing in the cold weather....and need to be replaced.
