The Rear springs from a E36 M3 Evo fit, i am running them currently. The Ride height does not change though as the 318ti is so light.

Been told Merc W124 Shocks fit with hardly and fettling. The bottom bolt hole just needs drilling out abit. I am currently ordering a rear set for the larger 4.2 engined...
