You can buy the timing tools on ebay for around $100. There are many DIYs that go into depth on how to time the engine. See beisan systems or dr.vanos instructions. Best of luck with the swap.

Instead of having the EWS removed via tune or using the 328i key, I would sync the EWS with the ti.

This can be done with a $10-$20 ebay usb to obd2 cable and gpeterson's software located here:...

I bought the cheap ones off eBay and had that issue. I was able to bend them to get them to stay but it took a while for them to stay there and not fall out.

So if you review the ETM for the m44 it shows the two step temperature switch low speed goes through the DME via x20 pins 3 + 8 and then it triggers the low speed relay.
On the 6 cylinder e36 cars...

I guess the question is: Those that run the e36 coupe/sedan aux fan (pusher) on their TI, was it a direct plug and play?

Anyone else have some more info? I have not touched the body harness. Just plugged in the aux fan that came with the e36 m3 parts car to the aux fan body harness with no luck.
