Visit strong-strut.com and look at the rear brace for the z3 and e30, which have the same rear suspension as the ti. This is a brace that fits under the car and tightens the suspension....easy bolt...

Howdy! You may want to check the motor mounts as well. They do wear out on cars this old and can cause some drivetrain vibration. Good luck!

I do not know which car the "straight" version fits, or why, but this is the design that fits the ti, and most of the other e36 models. It may be related to the oil pan design. I have it on my cars.
