An Alpha-N controller is the best way to get the most out of an egine, NA or FI. Downside is the price of such a controller...

Over here in Belgium we only have the option to choose between 95 octane and 98 octane. Those are the only 2 ones here. Obviously I use 98 octane, sometimes along with an octane booster. Runs nice...

For a stock 318 I wouldn't expect too much from it. But a likely 5 HP is possible though...

It's more of an important mod for turbo-ed and supercharged engines ;)
