Thanks =) Although, she is not much to show =( just a base model, black, in ok condition, with steelies that need their hub caps painted back to original silver...but she will be a great runnin girl...

Figured it out. Pulled on the ends with the...

Figured it out. Pulled on the ends with the "hooks" or tabs for pulling the sliders. The other ends are just capped which are small enough to go through the guide tubes.

Now to re-synch...

I checked again tonight and could not see any bolts behind either of the cam sprockets...maybe itīs possible?

Bentley seems to be more flaky with the e36 compared to the e30.

I have not removed the chain nor the inner lower cover which mates to the block. All that is off now is the outer upper and lower covers.

Sunroof cable removal

Anyone know how? I have the entire cassette out, the sliding lower panel off, the metal panel off, and motor removed.

The cables move very rough and I want to clean the guide tubes and re-grease.

Driveshaft: 95 318i into 98 318ti

I have a 98 318ti manual. Realoem says a 318i driveshaft from 1992+ is 20mm longer than my current stock one and is also a different part #. Anyone confirm or deny this?
