I have oil leakage around my valve cover gasket as well, I'll need to pull the plugs to see how bad it is... It's certainly on my to-do list... Thank goodness this is not my daily driver! :P

Late 40's. My Dad had 2 e9 2800cs while I was growing up, then I had 2 BMW 2002's one right after another... then the TI came along in 2008. Now I have 2 318ti's. Getting along, getting along. :)

The base is completely different, with the hinge for the armrest so it swings up. The ECS Tuning link appears to be just for the armrest and not the entire base plastic. The best bet is a salvage...

I just did this last week, I had to remove the door panels to screw in the new mirrors. The rubber gaskets that came with the mirrors were actually just as good as the originals. It was super easy...
