just about the only things that were really showing wear on my car were the drivers side seat bolster and parts of the steering wheel...

Problem created, and fixed, by my bone-headed self. When I was looking at the turn signal problem, I accidentally pulled fuse 31, and it was still loose this morning when I looked at it....
