M44 intake cam snap question

So it turns out that I snapped an intake cam due to lack of oiling. My question is can I replace the cam without removing the timing chain and tensioner in order to replace it? The timing is still...

It was the unloader relay. Thanks for the heads up. Much appreciated. Now I get to clean the plugs again, and put some oil in the fuel washed cylinders and try to fire it.

So about a year ago my 97 318ti stalled on me while pulling into a drive. Tried to restart and it seemed to run then die, then every so often it would get a very random fire. So after towing back...
