Take a picture of the front of the engine and of the head with the valve cover off and post it here. It's easy to see the difference between an M42 and M44 head if you know what you are looking for.

ARP may have a bolt with superior mechanical properties because they say the can go to 70 lb-ft.

Then remove each one and see if any look different. You should also get your codes read at an auto parts store...
