finally got the hand brake shoes, springs and pins changed so now have a hand brake

also bodged a temp repair on my intake boot as it has 2 massive cracks in it just need to find a new intake boot...

right then finally got round to have a spare bit of time to work on the car and got to the bottom of the brake issue.

the pins that hold the handbrake shoes to the back plate had pulled through...

right i suppose i better get looking around the engie bay it got to around 0-1 deg now and is making tick over a little strange and the reverse thing is happening as well making the revs drop right...

Took caliper off then tried to undos the 2 15mm bolts holding carrier and no joy

On a positive the disc screw was piece of cake.

i have just picked up my 1995 318ti and need some urgent help or pointers as to where to start looking

occasionally when reversing i get the feeling that the car doesnt wasnt to go...
