It's worth it to spend more money on something that you know has been respected and well maintained. This is especially true when purchasing a car with a motor like the s52. It's not exactly a cheap motor to replace.
My ultimate goal is to go forced induction with this car (duh!). I wanted to start with the best example of an m3 I could find. I found it. If I spend another $8k on this m3 and get the TT stage 2 turbo kit I'll be pushing 400hp+ in a beautiful car. Find me something equivalent or better than a 400+hp e36 m3 for under $28k, please.
