the secondary air pump send air to the exhaut manifold when the caris turn on in cold to heat fast the oxigen sensors to fast respond and no check engine ligth, when i have my Ti i eliminate those system to install my custom supercharger, i have no issues but i live in Puerto Rico , here the temp is 80 to 110 degree all year , so i think my car not need the air pump here. So i think if youy eliminate yours probably have bad turn on and check engine light, but the engine run normal witout those gigant pump
