I shipped one to the only shop on the west coast (at the time in S CA) to get its chassis straightened, The guy had slid off the road into a gravel parking lot. Just some small washboard action no big deal, knocked the chassis out of square so bad the doors wouldn't shut.... And he was doing about 40 miles an hour. Hit water on the road from a sprinkler.
It was like 5200 bucks to have them pull on the chassis and fix a suspension mount. 5 hours labor...... Tops... Plus 3K to ship the car from Portland Oregon to southern CA. And this was years ago when they first came into the market.
I love the exotics but having friends who own them has tought me a lot.

New Corvettes are not built for anybody over 5'8" tall. I can't straigten my head up if I have my Helmet on...
