Boost camshaft have little to no overlap so they are not good for high reving engines. My cams make all their power before 8,000 rpm so why spin it higher. This is a street car so it has to have a decent idle


Edit ~ Here's a better explaination. I pick the rev lititer by where the engine starts to loose power in the uper rpm range. Due to the cams I run the motor makes it's hp and torque in the lower rpm range so the motor make little power over 8,200 rpm...
