I usually try not to weld on things that hold pressure.
I always try to go single billet first then if I have to weld.
I've had too many bits crack even when top notch guys weld it.

Our shop is here:
http://www.competitionmotorsports.com/

I don't sell anything. I trade seat time for helping keep the cars running.
Ron the owner is a old school guy. He has the web page becasue its just necessary these days but he focuses on supporting local racers. He also does not make non race cars much of a focus. We don't do much street Tuner stuff. Too much liability and too many stupid people.

If you watch the front page slide show, I've worked on most of the cars.

The #16 200SX is just getting finished up, we dropped a new power plant in, the CA18T got replaced with a SR20DET and the car already had the CP record at Thunder Hill, Portland International and Pacific Raceway. It will be a SPU/W or ITE car now. Upgraded to 300ZX brakes as well.

The Midget has a Cosworth BDA in it. really fun toy...
The sprint is a non-wing 360 Chev. Makes over 600 HP on methanol.
In a car that weighs about 1500 with the driver...

Yep my name is Dave Taylor and I have a racing problem.
