IMHO, teenti was in the ballpark when he said ~$7500 at the top end. If you are willing to hold out for that one enthusiast who absolutely must have a 328 swap just like your car, then you might push $8k, but it's going to take you some time and effort to find that exact buyer. Realistically, if you can get a cash offer between $5-7k, that would be a fairly reasonable price for both buyer and seller. ...and if you think that is criminal (which it is) for a car that has had $18k invested in it, go check out what E24 635's are going for. Many of those cars cost over $50k when new in the late 1980's and now can be purchased for a mere $3-5k
