No, I picked up their cheap bumper a few months ago (after I destroyed the lip on my old one at Thunderhill...) and it fits fine, just like all the aftermarket ones I've seen and fitted (been through 3 bumpers
).
I've used the same reinforcement beam for all the bumpers. Also, I had an M3 a few years back (which I re-did the whole front end on) and the beam was identical.
Post up a couple of pics so we can better see your issue.
