It came with all maintenance records (by each owner), a BMW car cover, nice tool box with jumper cables, torque wrench, breaker bar, touch up paint pens, fuses, Delrin offset M3 control arm bushings, historic magazines with ti's in them Wayne Dempsey's E30/E30 DIY book and the aforementioned 318ti cap.
First mod, one of Ed's short, weighted shift knobs. I'll need to do all the shift bushings and drop in a shorter shift lever. Perhaps a Z4 3.0 lever again.
It's got a few issues, but nothing overwhelming. The top needs a new motor, the ignition lock intermittently spins, a slight mild shake of the steering wheel under acceleration, loose A/C vents, squeaky glove box, worn UV tint needs replacement, normal worn and slightly tore drivers left seat bolster. I already fixed the loose shift knob. I'll renew the cooling system as it was last done in 2006. Overall tho, it seems very well kept and I am happy with this find. .
Over the next month, I'll be swapping over many of the mods over from my 97 Sport over to the 98 Sport. I have to sell one of the three ti's as I have no more room. My wife wants the white Automatic, so it will be the 97 Sport. The 325i and the Dodge are out of the photo...
I purchased it from a cool guy who had to part with his car. While we came to terms on cash, Neal's shirt closed the deal
