There was plenty of room for the Magnet to protrude into the Insulation Cup. The Screw Holes in the Speaker Frame fit exactly into the 4 screw holes of car body - just needed longer screws. The OEM Wire female spade terminals plugged exactly into Speaker +/- Terminals. Sound quality is excellent to my old ears.

Full Disclosure: I have a Bazooka 8" Powered Subwoofer that has excellently complemented the OEM 10-Speaker System. I wired it into the OEM Subwoofer Terminals under the left rear quarter panel. I mounted the Bazooka to the underside of the Trunk Cover Tray to avoid using up the precious little Truck floor space.
So can I tap directly into the oem amplifier to run a powered subwoofer? Is there an open connection to do so? Thank you fo the information as I am looking to go a similar route as you.
