I'm building a whole new frame. The TI uses the small case diff so going to a large case would kill any acceleration I have getting different axles would be a pretty simple idea to most. But think about the fact then your suspension has to increase as well, the throw the current suspension has is perfect for the car. I could limit. But you also have to look at the part that a longer armed suspension has to be stronger, shorter arms mean less material to obtain a the same strength. And as it sits the suspension has a fairly large amount of movement compared to other cars, changing to a double wishbone it will gain even more throw. The front will be very simple. Its a basic version of a single wishbone already. Changing to a double will be very easy. It has a McPherson style coilover that can almost stay as it is.
