now obviously i need a new air bag for the passenger door, possibly a passenger seat occupancy sensor, and passenger seat belt switch in the belt buckle i assume, so new buckle assembly to start with and a new air bag and see what codes go away, since some codes can be related to each other.
Now the question, some say the ecu needs to just be reprogrammed, and other say it cannot be reprogrammed so has to be replaced, has anyone done work on the SRS system in the 3 series?
also where is the driver pretensioner located?

1. dr pretensioner built into the buckle 2. the srs can be programed but in your cash it has reached maxima deployment of 3 times so its locked occupancy can be recalibrate with a good scan tool . if you have any more question contact me i own a mobile airbag co.its not to leave back packs and objects on pass seat it throw's off the calibration from time to time i can give you a # to a guy that can rebuild you srs unit and pretioners cheap cheack him out. srsmodule.com
