I'm back... ended up buying a '93 Miata instead of an NA, not long after I made this hello post. Since then I put 12,000 miles on it, did some bodywork and had it painted, and sold it for what I had in it almost exactly.
And now I'm back here. The Miata was fun, but I didn't love it. One of the main reasons I got rid of it was how it rode on the highway. 4k RPMs, even with cruise control, gets pretty tiring during the course of a 90 mile round trip commute. That's more of an excuse, really.
I have looked at other stuff to replace the Miata, but the 318ti is the only one I keep entering in my Craigslist searches. I had to use the Miata money for something else, so it will be a little while, but I think I will end up with a ti this time. |
