I installed an 8" powered bazooka last week. I wired it to the battery through a grommet behind the carpet under the clutch pedal. I ran power and a remote turn on down the driver side, and rca's down the passenger side. You can pull the molding off, and tuck it under the carpet.
I have had for some time, 2 Pioneer 6x9's in the rear shelf. I did come across a dead kicker speaker.
Overall- the powered tube is nice. I still have a little room back there,and it sounds great, especially for using the rca's. I didn't need/want a heart shaker...this thing can thump good enough...

I even bought an extra (both on ebay for $50 each) for the old hoopty.
