Yeah GT40's and Z06's do handle in the corners, for the money you cannot build a better car than a Z06, they list at like 65k and sell for 80ish, but you can get one at most Chevy dealerships in the US, you can't say the same for other super cars Ferrari's Lambos etc. As for the GT40 its still a deal at 160K. The american auto industry is not trying to compete with other supercars that cost 2x as much. They are filling there gap in the market.
As for f-bodies and mustangs not handling, the majority of people buying them don't care about performance. I like the rest of you do care about performance, straightline, curves, braking etc. but we are the minority in the US.
