Actually you should and need to march to your city hall. If it is a danger to you and others then it is manditory for them to fix it promptly. If you are lucky they should replace all damaged parts on your car, unfortunetly they have the best lawyers on their side and might make you go to your insurance company (which is probably not worth the hassle and raise in rate) Good luck to you though, I hope someone else pays for the damage and not you.
