If you plan on going to the track often now get yourself a set of mickey thompsons and ditch the stock wheel idea. They sell some that are street/track legal so you don't have to swap your tires out when you get there. My friend is buying a set for his mustang gt for next spring/summer. He as well was just burning the tires through 1st,2nd & some of 3rd gear but 1st was horrible. We thought he would've had great traction by using Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3's cause they are basically slicks.


I'm not positive they have tires/rims for bmw's but as long as you can get a set with the 5X120 bolt pattern you should be all set.
