oh, ok, well we were parting it anyway, so i just went ahead and removed everything, figured that was easiest way to do it since it wasn't going back together.
and yeah, i bet it will be a pain to do the wires through the firewall.
and yeah, that'd be great so i know what to look out for when i install mine, which will probably be next week.

and i agree on the patience, lots of patience is always good when working on bmws.
