you shouldn't be taking off the front bumper.. you should be taking off the front bumper cover (confusing i know)
you will see all the screws.. you will first need to remove your liscense plate and any cover molding you have (i have the m3 bumper now so there are like 4 screws total) and then just unscrew anything holding it down... you should then have something connecting the sides to just in front of the tire (again i don't, although mine got ripped out)
it's very easy to do, and you don't have to worry about messing anything up as long as you don't force anything. __________________
