Since I didn't feel like buying a stock one (and I didn't get any hits on a used one) I went to the net and looked for some suitable replacements. What I settled on was this:
Aluminum cone, 30WRMS/60WMax, 60-10000Hz frequancy range, 82.6dB 1W/1M blah blah blah. It was a whopping 12 bucks!
I mounted it using part of the old speaker basket that I cut off near the top. It sounds good, nice and clean. A lot more low end punch than the stock speaker.
I'll take some pics when I do the right speaker.
