Steve asked me to comment on this piece so here is what I found: the spoiler was made by Direct Toys here in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. I think they "pulled" the piece too early from the mould and it self-straightened a bit. It sat about 2"-2.5" high on either end when laid on the 318ti. In other words, the contour is off. I considered back-cutting the bottom to bend it (like you would a piece of wood) but don't have the tools or patience to do it. The piece is very well painted and it would have finished my 318 perfectly but it just didn't work. If you have the time and tools, give it a shot. It is a good piece that simply needs some TLC. |
