I also have the same problem like no low speed. I did all the test like checking the fan H.S. and L.S (good) - temp. switch (good) - relay H.S (good) L.S. (good) checked also for 12V coming from the H.S relay to the L.S (good) and another 12V from pin 85. I knew that everything is working except for the L.S temperature switch that sends signal to the ECM and from ECM to the L.S relay pin 86 to activate the relay and bridge pin 30 and pin 87 (12V going to the fan). I was able to make mine work when it reaches the desired temperature and let my car running for 30 min . What I did is, I spliced a wire from the L.S temp switch wire (with a 7.5A fuse just to be sure if something wrong happens) going to the pin 85 of the L.S relay. This is now my question, Will it affect my ECM because I did not dis-able or cut the L.S. temperature wire going to the ECM and from ECM going to pin 85? |
