There are adapters for the 996 Brembo/Porsche calipers to fit E36 M and non M. I carry them. I don't know which calipers the Fiat uses so I'm not sure if an adapter exists but if it does not you are better off going with an already sorted solution. It's not as simple as making a bracket to fit. You need a rotor that's the right diameter, width and bolt pattern. Also know that virtually every OE wheel needs spacers to clear 4 piston calipers.
