 New Ti owner
Greetings all,
I am now the proud owner of a 1995 ti, I have been wanting one of these compacts since they first started turning up in the euro tuner mags years ago, and finally my day came when one got traded in at the dealership I work at. The car has high mileage (263,000km), and some issues with the transmission (bad synchros i think), but the price was right (only $1800 CDN) so i jumped on it. Just had to do the brakes and get some new tires for it (luckly one of my customers just upgraded his 17's to 18's so I bought his Bridgestone RE070's off him for $100). So far I am very pleased with the car, and I cant wait to rip up the autocross tracks this summer. I am planning on installing a xbrace, and putting in a new tranny and clutch in the next couple weeks. If anyone knows where I can find a good used or rebuilt tranny in Ontario Canada I would love to get any info.
Thanks to all who have posted all the great info on this forum. I has and will continue to help me keep my ti in good repair.
