sorry for late reply and not being on the forum for some time as I've been flat out with work and the car has been in storage as have been running low on space for my cars/projects.
Anyway the difference between the two engines are the 272hp version is 3L where as the earlier ones are 2.9L and the 272hp has two turbos as fitted to the 335d & 535d. i did want to use that engine but after nearly buying one i got the measurements and there's not enough room to fit the turbos between the engine and chassis rail. |
