my air bag light (in my 93 325is, and my ti) used to stay on for exactly 60 seconds then turn off. It would come back on when you restart the car.


Also: I was in an accident in my 95 m3 in April. There was never an airbag light on in that car. I was alone in the car and the passenger airbag still deployed! So as far as the seat sensor deploying the airbag...????
