Bringing back from the dead!

I might have solved this problem, and hopefully it'll be a fix for you guys, too. I purchased nilknarf's car and knowingly inherited this issue. I ran a few tests after doing the obvious stuff like cleaning the ground area and checking relays. My electric fan was on the level, so it wasn't the fault. I decided to test the alternator under different load levels, and it seems the voltage regulator was the fault. The regulator was spiking abnormally everytime the a/c kicked on. Did some research, and the Valeo alternators are known for having a faulty regulator and cause this issue and others. After I borrowed a non-Valeo alternator to test this theory (Bosch), I've yet to see this problem again for a couple months. (I did the test back during warmer weather.)
