Default For Sale: 1996 318ti in PA

Definitely selling my '96 ti automatic to buy a 5-spd ti. Was going to just have my shop do a swap since I love my current car but I'm not sure I'll ever get around to it or be able to justify the cost. Anyone interested?

Year: 1996
Mileage: 82,000
Owners: I'm the second...a friend that bought my Audi traded it to me as part of the payment.
Engine: 1.9
Trans: auto
Mods: none
Wheels: stock 15" alloy (10 spokes, I believe)
Tires: 90% tread all-season
Stereo: factory 10 speaker, factory 6-disc
Other Factory Options: sunroof, traction control, cruise control, leather wrapped wheel and shifter
Service: Have records from BMW dealer and local independent BMW shop. Just had oil, coolant, and transmission fluid changed. I've had a thermostat replaced since I've owned it.
Exterior: 8 out of 10. I would go 9 out of 10 but there are a few chips on the front of the hood that were touched up but still visible from 5 feet or closer. No dings or dents. Just had it professionally detailed a month ago so it has fresh wax for winter.
Interior: 9 out of 10. Grey cloth. Very nice. Never smoked in. No rips, stains, tears, etc. Changed light grey floor mats to factory BMW charcoal mats. Otherwise stock.
No suspension rattles, squeaks, shakes, etc. Runs and drives very smoothly.

It looks exactly like this: Montreal Blue ti
I'll take pictures tomorrow. I'm trying to decide if it's worth selling or if I should just do the swap since I don't know if I'll find one this nice with a 5-spd for a decent price. I'm asking $6000 obo. The local dealer said they'd sell it for about $8200 but they would probably only give me $5500 if I sold it to them outright unless they had a buyer for it (since I wouldn't be buying anything else from them ...they don't have any ti's!) I'm in Camp Hill, PA...near Harrisburg. Email neat1wingsfan@comcast.net if you're interested and want to drive it. Pics should be posted sometime soon.

Thanks for looking!
