 Just bought 97 318ti sport
Hi, new to this board now that I just picked up a 1997 318ti sport auto with only 88k for 4500. Had a good time driving the car 12 hours home from FL. I just spent a year fixing up an e30 for my son and now I'll be working on this one for my daughter, but it won't take a year on this one. In a month or so I should be able to get all the maintenance and fixes done. The only things that I've found that need immediate attention are a new thermostat and it looks like it has the oil filter housing leak. Then it's belts, filters, fluids, brakes, other general maintenance and it has a broken tail light and a dent in the left rear quarter. This is my fourth used bmw and it's alot of fun to drive, although if it were going to be my car, I wouldn't have gone for the auto. |
