Default 1995 318ti Sport 5sp Hellrot

Need to say goodbye to this great ride: 1995 BMW 318ti sport, manual transmission, Limited Split Differential. 180,000 miles. $3,500, more than fair price.

This car has many upgrades with parts from Turner Motorsports. In the last 2-3 years the suspension has been completely redone with new tie-rods, Bilstein shocks, H&R springs, torsion bar bushings. Weak points in brackets for torsion bar have been re-welded.

Brakes have been upgraded with larger calipers and vented rotors from E36 328i. Rear brakes have new rotors, hoses, pads and Ebrake shoes.

Continental tires 225/50ZR-16 are mounted on original OEM wheels for Z4. The wheels are mounted with Turner hub extender kit and spacers. The mildly lowered suspension, wider tires and hub extenders give the car a great stance and excellent road stability.

The interior is clean, with new carpets, no gash in the sports seats. All controls and switches work. The ring antenna for start key was replaced at BMW. The exterior is average, the red paint (BMW Hellrot) is acceptable but uneven. There is some rust on rear wheel wells, already fixed once, and under rear turn signal lights.

Engine is original with no modifications, every mechanical issue has been addressed, all fluid changes have been kept to right intervals. Fuel injectors have been cleaned. New water pump, thermostat, belts, timing chain tensioner. A/C is strong with new condenser and fresh reload. New exhaust pipe. The engine pulls strong, no slip in the clutch, the gear shift linkage is nice and crisp. No hum in the differential. All repairs and expenses documented with an extensive file.

I have owned several BMWs and purchased this one for a potential track car upgrade or an M engine install. The car is such fun to drive as is that it became my daily driver. But it is now time to pass it on to another owner that can appreciate and preserve this great car. There is no other hatchback on the market that I would rather own.
