The 318ti is by no means a "rare" car. While they're not as common as coupes sedans and verts here in the US, they were very popular in Europe. Tens of thousands of them were imported to North America from '95-'99. Fact is, you're looking at a 15 year old import and since coupes sedans and verts had more appeal to Americans in the '90's, they sold better. You're likely to see 50 regular e36's for every one compact. But that still doesn't make it rare. |
