Talking OK, Answers...

Wow... I leave for a second an hell breaks lose.

OK, here the answers to some questions.

My runs were made in third gear pulls at WOT with the ambient temperture at about 88 Degrees. So the temps could have resulted in lower numbers. The car that was runs was my TI that has a DASC kit in completely stock form RRFPR and all. You can compare my run to one that Nick G has on his site to see a good comparison.

My numbers were a little less then his were. I am still unsure of the exact stock numbers and I will post the chart tonight. I was just guessing hence the (???).

With the DASC the first time you take the car out you will feel the increased low end torque before you even put your foot in it. Just driving around town the car picks up and goes a hell of a lot faster.

If you change the diff you will get S/C like performance especially from a (4.44), you just will not be able to go fast then 90 MPH which in the end could slow down you 1/4 miles time. With the DASC you get the same type of acceleration and can go still take it to the limiter.

I spent 3K for 40 RWHP The thing is that it is power to the wheels. Now you have to think about it that it does put you in the negihborhood of 200 HP at the crank if you don't have a drivetrain loss.

A stock DASC will never have 200 RWHP, I don't care what anyone says. The DA site has a correct chart of HP measured at the crank I believe.

I assure you that the kit is worth the $$$

Hope that helps.
