Seems like it would be close:

The DASC 318ti should be 2745lbs and have 210 hp or so.
The stock E36 M3 is 3175lbs and has 240 hp.

13.07 lbs per hp for the DASC 318ti
13.22 lbs per hp for the M3

So just by that, the 318ti should be a hair faster, but there are a million other things to consider... gear ratios for example; also I didn't add the weight of the SC itself... I have no idea how much it weighs.. if you take that into account you have to consider how much gas you have in your tank when the race is done and the body weight of the driver.

I'm sure this race has been done repeatedly by some of the members...
