Unfortunately, the 318ti is extinct. It was replaced by the E46 version in the rest of the world, but we never got that here. With the introduction of the 1 series, BMW has replaced the 3 series compact. That means no hatchback version of the E90 3 series. It's too bad that BMW NA bungled the marketing/selling of the 318ti and never even bothered with the 325 ti. They sold a crap-load of these cars in Europe, but American snobbery kept us from having access to some great cars. There were even turbo diesel models and 1.6 liter models.
