 Fuel economy
I finally got the reserve light to illuminate. When it came on, the needle was nearing the middle of the orange range. The odometer read 383.7. Before you get too excited, I think there are some errors involved. Using 11.6 gallons as the trigger, that mileage came to 33.07MPG ( OBC calculated 33.6 ). I drove 17 more miles to fill up. That should have taken .5 gallons. The fill up should have required a little over 12 gallons, but the pump said 13.4. Using this amount (13.4 to cover 400.4 miles). The economy was 29.9 MPG.
I think there is some error in almost all areas, the pump accuracy, the odometer, and the point at which the light comes on..
BTW, I learned that the OBC can be trimmed once you figure out your true economy.
