Default BMW 318ti m-sport

Selling my 1997 318ti M-sport. I love this car so much but I can't afford to keep it running. It needs some tlc.

About a week ago it overheated less than a mile from home. I immediately pulled into a gas station and let it cool overnight. Later I drove it the rest of the way home where it's stayed since then. There was/is no steam coming from the tailpipe or motor when it's driven so I'm thinking the head gasket was saved. It was pretty much out of coolant and there was a small amount of steam coming from the water pump area. I'm guessing the water pump went out.

I would have it fixed but the whole car needs taken care of. Up until last week it was a decent daily driver in Tulsa, but it's showing its age. The brakes and power aren't as snappy as when I bought the car a couple years ago. It just rolled over 175k miles. It's time to let it go.

It has some cosmetic issues too. The body isn't completely straight; there are little dings and a dent in the back. A taillight is missing a small section, the leather on the driver's side seat is ripped, the plastic trim on the passenger side is gone, the sunroof protests every time it moves, and I stole the stereo and installed it in my new car.

I have to sell it as a whole. I don't have the time, space, or the tools to part it out. There are a lot of nice parts though!

I'm asking $1200 or best offer. I live in Midtown, Tulsa Oklahoma.

If you're interested you would be welcome to drive it around the block as long as it was back before it got hot.
