When I bought the 318ti my fiancee said she didn't want the car and told me to sell it.
After much ado, I told her to just give it up. No way I'm selling it. I could have made $4,000 on flipping it and I am keeping the damned thing. It's a bit of a project but the car isn't going anywhere.
The next week she cleaned the car and put a rosary with a cross on the rearview mirror and told me, "Ok, fine. You have your dream car. I give up." Then I bought a Jeep for her.
She's happy. Case closed.
