Keep up the search!

The 318ti does well with keeping up in traffic, getting decent mpg (high 20's), can be a fun momentum car with some suspension work, and have a lot of good practical space.

Be warned though that with the stock differential (3.45) you will be reving to 3500rpm at roughly 75mph. With a quiet exhaust I have no problem with it, but when I had a gutted muffler for a little while it was mind numbing.
